Day 1: Arrive in Kasane – Chobe National Park

Your African adventure begins in Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park.

Meet your safari representative and transfer to Chobe Game Lodge, located inside the national park.

After settling into your luxury lodge, enjoy your first safari experience.

Chobe is renowned for its large elephant population and abundant wildlife. Depending on your arrival time, your first activity may be a game drive or boat experience along the Chobe River. As evening falls, return to the lodge and enjoy your first night in the Botswana wilderness.

Day 2: Chobe National Park – Wildlife & River Safari

Day 3: Chobe – Makgadikgadi Pans

After breakfast, leave Chobe and continue toward the Makgadikgadi region.

Arrive at Leroo La Tau, a luxury lodge overlooking the Boteti River and bordering the Makgadikgadi Pans region. After lunch and time to settle in, enjoy your first afternoon safari activity. The area is known for wildlife including zebra, wildebeest, lions and a variety of other species.

Day 4: Makgadikgadi – Full-Day Wilderness Experience

Day 5: Fly to the Okavango Delta

After breakfast, transfer toward the airstrip for your scenic flight into the Okavango Delta. The view from above reveals a spectacular network of waterways, islands and floodplains.

After settling in, begin exploring this remarkable aquatic wilderness. Depending on water levels and local conditions, your safari may include boating, mokoro excursions and guided wilderness experiences.

Day 7: Okavango Delta to Moremi Game Reserve

Continue deeper into Botswana’s wilderness with a scenic air transfer toward Moremi Game Reserve.

Arrive at Camp Xakanaxa, located within Moremi and surrounded by the Okavango ecosystem. After lunch, head out for your first Moremi safari activity. Moremi offers excellent opportunities to encounter elephants, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, lions, leopards and other wildlife, with spectacular birdlife throughout the reserve.

Day 10: Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey westward toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through Uganda’s countryside, passing villages, farms and beautiful landscapes. Stop at the Equator for photographs and a memorable experience before continuing toward western Uganda.

As you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park, the landscape opens into savannah, crater lakes and views toward the Rwenzori Mountains.

Arrive at Enganzi Game Lodge and relax.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel

Rise early for a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the Kasenyi plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes and other wildlife.

After lunch, experience one of Uganda’s most famous wildlife activities the Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Cruise between Lake Edward and Lake George and watch for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and an impressive variety of water birds.

Return to Enganzi Game Lodge for your second night.

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Arrive near Bwindi and settle into Gorilla Mist Camp. Enjoy a quiet evening and prepare for tomorrow’s defining experience.

Day 13: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience

Today is the centerpiece of your Uganda adventure. After an early breakfast, proceed to the gorilla trekking briefing point.

Meet your ranger guides and trackers before entering the ancient Bwindi rainforest.

The trek can be physically demanding, with steep terrain and changing forest conditions, but the reward is extraordinary. Once your gorilla family is located, spend the permitted viewing time observing these remarkable animals in their natural environment.

Watch their interactions, feeding, resting and movement through the forest. After the trek, return for lunch and relax at the lodge.

Day 14: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park
