Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your Kenya safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, travelling through the spectacular Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru.

Enjoy a scenic journey with opportunities to stop at viewpoints overlooking the Rift Valley before continuing toward Lake Nakuru National Park.

After entering the park, begin your first game drive through one of Kenya's most rewarding wildlife areas. Lake Nakuru is particularly famous for its black and white rhinos, while the surrounding woodland and grassland support buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lions and numerous bird species.

The lake and its surrounding ecosystem provide a beautiful setting for photography and wildlife viewing.

Later, continue to Ziwa Bush Lodge, where you can relax in the peaceful natural surroundings after your first day on safari.

Accommodation: Ziwa Bush Lodge

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and journey toward the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.

The drive takes you through changing Kenyan landscapes as the Rift Valley gives way to the rolling grasslands of the Mara ecosystem.

Arrive in the Masai Mara around lunchtime and check in at Mara Simba Lodge.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive.

The Mara is famous for its exceptional concentration of wildlife. Keep your eyes open for lions resting beneath acacia trees, elephants crossing the plains, giraffes browsing above the grasslands and, with luck, cheetahs or leopards moving through the reserve.

As afternoon turns into evening, the Mara becomes particularly atmospheric, with golden light spreading across the savannah.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Accommodation: Mara Simba Lodge

Day 3: Full-Day Masai Mara Wildlife Safari

Rise early for one of the most exciting days of your Kenya safari.

After breakfast, head deep into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a full-day wildlife adventure.

During the Great Migration season, generally between July and October, the Mara can also become a spectacular stage for enormous wildebeest and zebra herds moving through the ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive.

Your experienced guide will adapt the route according to wildlife movements and the conditions of the day, maximizing your opportunities for photography and memorable encounters.

Return to Mara Simba Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Mara Simba Lodge

Day 4: Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, leave the Masai Mara and begin your journey toward Amboseli National Park.

This is a longer travel day, taking you across the Kenyan countryside toward the country's southern wildlife region. Along the way, experience changing landscapes and rural communities as you approach the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp, situated close to Amboseli National Park and offering spectacular views toward Mount Kilimanjaro.

Settle into your tent and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before dinner.

If time and park conditions allow, an optional late-afternoon wildlife experience can be arranged.

Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp

Day 5: Full-Day Amboseli National Park Safari

Wake to the possibility of one of Africa's most iconic views — Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the Amboseli plains.

After an early breakfast, enter Amboseli National Park for a full-day safari.

Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, with the mountain providing an extraordinary backdrop for wildlife photography.

Visit viewpoints such as Observation Hill, where the landscape opens dramatically across the Amboseli ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch or return to the lodge depending on the day's safari plan before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration.

As the sun begins to set, watch elephants move across the golden plains with Kilimanjaro providing an unforgettable backdrop.

Return to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner and your final night in the Kenyan wilderness.

Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp

Day 6: Amboseli Sunrise Safari & Departure to Nairobi

Wake early for your final safari experience.

An early morning game drive offers another opportunity to encounter elephants and other wildlife while the soft morning light creates excellent conditions for photography.

On clear mornings, Mount Kilimanjaro can provide the perfect backdrop as wildlife moves across the plains.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

Depending on your departure arrangements, you can be dropped at your Nairobi hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Your 6-day Kenya safari ends with unforgettable memories of rhinos at Lake Nakuru, big cats in the Masai Mara and elephants beneath Kilimanjaro.
