Day 2: Okavango Delta – Mokoro & Wildlife Safari

Day 3: Okavango Delta – Khwai Concession

Day 11: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

Today brings your first major Ugandan wildlife encounter.

Enter the ancient rainforest with experienced guides and search for habituated chimpanzee communities.

Listen for their calls echoing through the forest as you follow them through the trees. Once located, enjoy an intimate encounter observing their social behavior and interactions.

Depending on the route and road conditions, you may have an opportunity to pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Continue toward Bwindi and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwind

Today is the emotional highlight of the entire safari.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point.

Meet your ranger guides before entering Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to a significant population of the world's remaining mountain gorillas.

Trek through the ancient rainforest in search of your assigned gorilla family.

The trek can vary in duration depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing these remarkable animals as they feed, groom, play and interact naturally.

Few wildlife experiences compare with standing just metres away from a wild mountain gorilla in its natural habitat.
